During the winter, however, temperatures are more in the low 40s.
The Villas arrange restaurant-style meals that are nutritious and meet dietary needs. Food is prepared by a professionally trained chef that uses only fresh ingredients that are low-sodium, heart-healthy but delicious and savory. Resident can choose where they sit in the areas dining room and what dishes they want to eat. The chef welcomes suggestions and feedback from the residents for future menu items and will even caters your own recipes for private events in the private dining room. The main dining room is opened for extended hours for convenience.
Union park hosts a variety of educational, recreational and spiritual activities and clubs on-site for the residents pleasure. Some examples include sign language classes, bingo, Sunday worship, yoga, Tai Chi, drawing workshops and movie nights. Clubs include the readers club, Scrabble club and the gardening committee. Events are also planned by the center and include trips to the Woodland Park Zoo and the Snoqualmie Casino, for example.
