PROVEN SAFE
The Lumin Wand has been safety engineered to prevent unintentional injury. Three advanced safety features have been designed in. These include a 3 second delay on, to avoid a child from unintentionally activating the device. A proximity sensor will turn off the light source if the Wand is lifted higher than 6” from a surface. A third safety feature is the advanced sensor detection of any turn of the wrist, which shuts off if a user attempts to look directly at the light source. Â
SAFETY START The Lumin Wand requires the on/off button to be held down continuously for 3 seconds.
PROXIMITY SENSORS A proximity sensor will automatically turn off the light source if the Lumin Wand is lifted higher than 6” off a surface.
ADVANCED SENSOR TECHNOLOGY The Lumin Wand has advanced sensor technology which is capable of detecting a user’s turn of the wrist. This safety feature will shut off the light source if a user attempts to turn the device away from a surface to protect the user. The ability of a UV device to kill germs is dependant on two variables:
