The Heartway HP5 ESCAPE DX power wheelchair is a folding power wheelchair with aluminum frame.The ESCAPE DX also has removable battery boxes which when combined with the lightweight aluminum frame make portability and transporting convenient and easy. The Escape DX is also equipped with removable swing away leg rests. The Escape DX uses two 200 watt motors and a 50 Amp VSI controller. The top speed for the Escape DX is 4 MPH. It uses two 12V 35AH batteries  and has a range of up to 20 miles per charge
