The chair fits perfect in the walk in shower and has made showering safer.

The chair is great and has everything I could want. However using the plastic padded seat cover is quite dangerous. Once it gets wet it becomes extremely slippery especially if any soap gets on it. Also the safety bar Senior.com suggested does not work at all. Only 2 at most suction cups will work. After working for 2 hours on attempting to attach it, I gave up, did some research online and found the same complaint about all suction safety bars. Either they don’t attach or they pop off within minutes. The major complaint is they are dangerous for anyone who uses them when showering. They are not meant for supporting weight but they fall off with a gentle touch. After much research I ordered one that attaches with silicone. The only other option is to screw a safety bar to the wall. My suggestion is to read reviews on suction cup safety bars before buying the one recommended by Senior.com. It is great in theory just not safe in reality. I highly recommend the shower chair just leave the padded cover off.
