Designed to be used in the prevention, treatment and management of pressure ulcers, spots and bedsores, the 5” alternating pressure mattress is made up of 16 sealed air chambers that utilize a variable pressure pump to alleviate pressure points on patients or loved ones who have limited mobility or are bedfast.
The variable pressure pump is ultra-quiet to ensure a peaceful rest. Easy to adjust, the pump displays current air pressure firmness ensuring settings remain consistent. The pressure pump has two non-marking hooks that allow the pump to be easily attached to the foot of the bed.
Protecting the pressure mattress, a latex-free, waterproof vinyl cover easily slips over the air cells. The breathable cover allows heat to dissipate for patient comfort, is easy to clean and durably designed, safely supporting up to 320 pounds.

Uses:
- Intended for use by those confined to a bed for an extended period of time
- Prevents sores that are caused by prolonged bed rest

Operating Instructions:
- Position the mattress topper on the bed and snap the water resistant cover in place.
- Secure the mattress to the bed by tucking the ends of the mattress cover under the existing mattress or boxspring.
- Connect the mattress feed pipes to the compressor (pump) connector using the included flexible air hose.
- Secure the compressor on a flat surface or use the included nonmarking hooks to hang the compression on the headboard or footboard, then plug into a grounded outlet.
- Turn on the air compression pump and turn the dial to achieve the desired firmness. Make sure the mattress is fully inflated before positioning the patient on top of it.
Care Instructions:
- For best results, wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent or disinfectant solution.
- Do not use corrosive cleaning products such as industrial degreasers or acetic solvents.
