How to Cool Gel Packs:
- Place each gel pack flat in the freezer for at least 2 hours
- Remove a gel pack from the freezer and place it in the lumbar roll pouch before applying
- Never apply cold therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time
How to Heat Gel Packs in a Microwave
Note- Gel pack must be at room temperature before heating in microwave
- Place a single gel pack on a paper towel in the microwave
- Heat at full power in 5-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached
- Place in the lumbar roll pouch and apply to the affected area
- Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time
How to Heat Gel Packs on a Stove Top
- Bring 3 quarts (3.5 liters) of water to a boil
- Remove water from the heat source. Note: Never immerse gel pack while water is being heated
- Immerse gel pack in hot water for 2.5 - 3 minutes
- Place in the lumbar roll pouch and apply to the affected area
- Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time
Care Instructions:
- Removable mesh cover is machine washable in cold water with a mild detergent
- Tumble dry on low heat setting
- Spot clean foam cushion with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. Do not machine wash
