About the McKenzie Method®
Globally recognized as a leading treatment for back, neck and extremity disorders, the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) was developed in the 1950s by the late Robin McKenzie, a world-renowned expert physiotherapist. The McKenzie Method treatment principles promote the body’s potential to repair itself and do not involve the use of medication, heat, cold, ultrasound, needles or surgery. Instead, patients are empowered to be in control of their own symptom management, which may include the use of lumbar rolls, in addition to practicing exercises to help alleviate symptoms and improve health.
