Microclimate Management with Alternating Pressure Therapy
Protocol’s proprietary air delivery cover design gently directs airflow to the underside of its highly vapor-permeable coverlet, helping to remove excess moisture vapor and protect vulnerable skin. Its innovative design allows the Protocol’s control unit to operate with significantly less heat, noise, and energy consumption compared to traditional high-output low air loss blowers.
Caregivers can choose between subtle alternating pressure or powered flotation therapy modes. The Auto Firm mode offers enhanced surface stability for activities like ADLs, transfers, and feeding, automatically returning to the selected treatment mode after 20 minutes. Unlike typical roll-up surfaces, Protocol maintains inflation during power outages or transport. The system includes a mattress, control unit, and a machine-washable coverlet.
