The PressureGuard® APM² offers two distinct therapy modes, delivering double the treatment options, flexibility, and value. Now, with enhanced cover and control unit features, it’s even more effective. The upgraded cover features an anti-microbial, bi-directional stretch design made with Span’s advanced LifeSpan® fabric, known for its durability, easy cleanability, and exceptional resistance to chemical breakdown from bleach and other harsh disinfectants. Switching between alternating pressure and basic lateral rotation is quick and effortless, using a single recessed toggle switch without needing to disconnect or exchange air lines.

The reliable digital control unit is lightweight, quiet, and easy to use. It features a white, multi-functional interface for simple, indexed comfort adjustments and an optional audible alarm. A timed 20-minute “Auto Firm” mode simplifies caregiving tasks like transfers, ADLs, and CPR, then automatically returns to the previous setting. The “Alternate Mode” provides a 10-minute cycle of alternating pressure or lateral rotation therapy, while the “Float” mode delivers powered flotation therapy. Indicator lights for “Low Pressure” and “Power Failure” provide at-a-glance assurance of proper function.
